Aquis Makes Beefy Donation To Local Charity

THE developers behind the Aquis Casino and Resort project have donated 200 kilograms of beef to a local charity to provide meals to homeless youth.

The Fung family has donated the beef, from  cattle on their private property near Cairns, to the Carinity Youth Harald¹s House. Carinity Youth Harald¹s House opened its doors this year and offers food, support, shelter and hope to young people who have no one to turn to.

Children are required to participate in school, training or work in order to realise their potential and end the cycle of homelessness.

Aquis CEO Justin Fung said Carinity Youth Harald¹s House delivered a much-needed service for the Cairns community.

“Carinity Youth Harald’s House provides a safe, stable home environment where children have the opportunity to turn their lives around,” he said.

“It’s an organisation that is making a real difference in the community and this why we are proud to support and assist them.”
